Terms of use
Terms of use.
Effective and last updated: 25 September 2026. These terms apply when you use Clearline, including its website, app, and Chrome extension. By using Clearline you agree to them. You must be old enough to form a binding agreement where you live; Home School features are for adults, and Clearline does not offer accounts for children. By submitting content, you confirm you have the rights and permissions needed to share it and that your use follows applicable law and these terms.
Posts, comments, and your content
You retain rights you hold in content you submit. You give the service operator permission to host, store, display, format, and distribute that content as needed to operate Clearline and make it available to the audiences and features you select. This permission lasts while your content is on Clearline and ends when you delete it or your account, except for copies kept in backups, logs, or moderation records, or already shared by others. Posts and comments may be public. Do not publish personal data about someone else without a lawful basis or permission.
Not allowed
Do not use Clearline to break the law; infringe copyright, privacy, or other rights; threaten, harass, exploit, or impersonate people; publish malicious or deceptive links; spam, manipulate discovery, evade enforcement, or interfere with the service. Do not upload or link material you are not entitled to share. YouTube links and players remain subject to YouTube’s Terms and its applicable developer policies. Clearline does not grant permission to download or rehost YouTube video.
Reports, moderation, and appeals
You may report a post or comment using the available report flow. Reports are reviewed by authorized moderators when capacity permits; submitting a report does not guarantee removal or a particular response time. Moderators may hide or remove content and dismiss or uphold reports where they reasonably consider that appropriate for safety, rights, service integrity, or legal compliance. Reasons may be recorded. If your content is removed, an appeal may be available through the service. An appeal is reviewed when capacity permits and does not guarantee reinstatement. Do not use reports or appeals to harass others.
Availability, deletion, and third parties
Features may change or be unavailable. Clearline does not promise uninterrupted access, permanent storage, recovery of content, or a particular moderation outcome. Removing content from public view may not remove moderation records, backups, provider logs, or copies made by others. Signed-in users can export their account data and delete their account from Settings. Google sign-in, YouTube discovery, and YouTube playback are provided through third parties and are also governed by their terms and privacy practices.
Suspension and ending use
You can stop using Clearline and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or end access for accounts that seriously or repeatedly break these terms, or where needed to protect people, the service, or to comply with law.
No warranty and limitation of liability
Clearline is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, to the extent permitted by law. AI output, search results, and third-party content may be inaccurate or unsuitable and should be checked by you. To the extent permitted by law, the operator is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss of data or content, arising from your use of Clearline. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
Governing law and changes
These terms are governed by the laws of Thailand, without affecting mandatory consumer protections where you live. If we change these terms materially, we will update this page and its effective date; continuing to use Clearline after that means you accept the updated terms.
